My poor Equinox maybe on his final legs. I may have cracked the head on it. I had to replace the thermostat on Tuesday and we are having to flush the radiator today and the engine is missing. They say I may have cracked the head and are checking it now. It has 150,000 miles on it and it is paid off.

God I don't want a car payment. We just paid everything off and I haven't started saving up for a new car yet.

So send some good thoughts our way we don't have to trade him in, he's been a good one.

If the engine is missing, the cheap trick will have to be something like how to drive Fred Flintstone style.

I ♥ you, Lil.

I did that to an Olds Aurora a few years ago. It never ends after that... Was it near Hilsboro in Texas? That's where my car always died. ALWAYS.

What about Nissan's? I need an SUV I carry too much shiat, but I need something that gets decent gas millage. Oh and it can't be too nice. I go to a bunch of small hospitals can't be rolling up in something too sweet.

I haven't had a lick of trouble out of my 2002 Chevy Blazer, still like new.

I always kinda liked the pathfinder myself. I don't think there's a problems with the Nissans or the Toyota's (Like the 4 runners)

At Christmas, my 1990 Honda Accord EX with 260K miles on it had 1 thing to many fail....

- Needs new clutch (still original) $800.00
- Needs front end rebuild $1500.00
- Needs new heater core - $1000.00

So I had been saving, so THA for Christmas gets a 2006 BMW 530i with only 12,000 miles as a Certified Pre-Owned. It was a nice drive up to the In-laws for Christmas this year. But at almost 19 years, I think I used up the Accord pretty well...

Well cracked the block it's gonna cost 4100 to fix. I'm getting a new car cause my car is only worth 5500. I test drove a nissan murano today. LOVED IT! But the ****** bag manager thought I was a sucker and thought I was going to pay almost 17000 for a loaded 04 with 53,000. I said thanks but no thanks and walked out.

Dammit

Mmmmm that's vintastic... but it still doesn't make up for the loss of the Nox, or the copious amount of dough I'm about to have to shell out to replace him.

you know, it's considered bad luck by some to refer to vehicles as a male

that's your whole problem ;)

Well whatever... problem has been all but remedied. Got a heck of deal down in Blanchard on a 08 equinox with less than 20,000 miles that is pretty pimped out. We haven't signed the papers yet but we probably will on Monday.

Next time I will get the Murano.
