Heisman trophy winning quarterback Sam Bradford will return to the University of Oklahoma, according to two sources within the OU athletic department.

Sources confirmed to the World that Bradford isn't the only player returning. All the Sooners' underclassmen considering leaving early for the NFL are expected to be back, according to sources.

Those players include All-America tight end Jermaine Gresham and offensive lineman Trent Williams. Earlier this week, All-America defensive tackle Gerald McCoy said he would return.

ESPN.com has also reported, citing a source, that Bradford and Williams will return.

Bradford, and other players, had until tomorrow to decide if they wanted to enter the NFL draft or remain at OU.

Just heard Gresham is staying from someone else also.

Looks like no one is leaving.

I wonder why no one is talking about Demarco?

Because if he left, he would be a 5th round to a RFA....Too many injuries

Its hard to get excited for the sooners anymore. They have all this talent and will probably win the Big 12 but nothing else.

Will the press conference be aired on ESPN2 or ESPNU? I live in Texas and don't have access to Radio Free Oklahoma.
Just hope the new O line can protect Bradford.

This is why we are lucky to be Sooner fans. They obviously made a commitment to each other and to Sooner football to come back and crush the competition. Not to mention it wise if you want success at the next level to develop yourself as much as possible at the collegiate level.

And once again.. God Bless America.

I honestly feel that Jermaine, Sam and Trent all made the right decisions for each of them. The bonus for everybody else is being an OU fan. :D

Great, great news. And these guys coming back seem like they'd all like to take care of some unfinished business, too. It great to be a Sooner and cheer for these guys.

obviously sam coming back was the top news. but i am thrilled that we get to see sam connect with JG for another year. there is just something about watching him catch the ball and looking down at defenders as they try to tackle him.
