I'm guessing the money is tempting, but the chance of winning a championship at OU with a degree and countless records while still earning millions through insurance or NFL is keeping him here.

Yeah... 11-12 games... except for the year our "system quarterback" won eight. :mad:

I suppose you will claim that to be a non-system year for another neg-spek reason, like us winning a bowl game :mad::mad:

whatev. I think it matters if Sam returns or not, if for no other reason than he's a Sooner, he's from Oklahoma and we care about his future, so he matters to us.

Or maybe he stays b/c he's not to keen on the idea that the Lions will have yet another shot at ruining a Heisman winner from the state of OK. (Owens,Sims,Sanders and ???? hopefully not Bradford) Or maybe he pulls a manning and says dont draft me I wont play for you!!!!

Folks, I can't believe any of you even THINK there is a POSSIBILITY that Sam will be here for the 09 season.. The guy is super talented and can't afford to wait.. What if he were injured ? Sam is gone.. I know, I am sad as well..

If I could get the VOTE thing to work here I would add a post asking for a vote on Sam "stays" or Sam "leaves", but I could find the process to create a vote on a new post.
