My wife and I got one of these 10 years ago when we first got married (though it isn't called the slap chop) and it's awesome. It's a pain in the butt to clean (so my wife says), but it really is handy at dicing.

Did you watch the whole thing? Part of the beauty of the SlapChop is that it's easy to clean. Much easier than those old ones.

I guess you just have to ask yourself if you want to keep living a boring life with a bacteria-filled chopper.

We have something similar we got through one of those "Pampered Chef" parties.

We use it for some things. It does chop very well.
