Is he more like Sam or does he run like some of the other BIG XII QBs?

I saw one of his high school games on tv and I thought he was the 2nd coming of Bradford....tall, in the pocket, throwing zingers accurately and throwing a lot of them out of the spread. And he was doing a lot more this in high school than Sam ever did.

I for one am excited to see his coming out party whenever that happens.

His throwing motion is Jason White's. It's almost eerie.

About like Sams, he can run if he needs to but never really needed to.

When I watched Jonesplay on ESPN in high school he reminded me of Testeverde in college. Not slow Vinny in the NFL..although he played a long time but Vinny in college who was a bear to tackle in the backfield and had a big arm.

I do really hope that next year we are seeing him in a back-up role to Bradford but if it is his time I think he can do very well.

Although I have only seen limited videos of him, his powerful arm really stands out for me.

I saw him a couple of times in high school. He is big and has a strong arm. I agree that he is more like Bradford than some of the scrambler types. He can run if necessary, but he seemed to have a lot of patience in the pocket, letting his receivers run their routes.

When he attended the Elite Eleven camp he received an award for most accurate passer.

Sounds like the Sooners will be in good hands no matter what.

With 2 scholarship QBs and one being a true freshman who will RS, I doubt we'll see the playbook expanded to include runs from the QB.
