Well, the basketball teams are ranked pretty high this season.

Yeah, but basketball just isn't as electrifying as tiddlywinks.

Vet and I spent some time in an OU sponsored tidlywink camp back in the 70s and man...if they gave a Heisman for that, OU would have at least 14 winners.

That may be fun and all, but it's just not the same without the Sooner tradition that tiddlywinks has...

How about Sooner Hopscotch, or Chinese checkers? Did anyone ever play Wahoo! Oh wait, that's a different subject. :D

Hopscotch is the bomb, but seriuosly dude...it just doesn't share the thrilling strategery of t-winks!

Our Chinese checkers team sucks this year and the only think I know about Wahoo! is that my wife occasionalls yells it when I throw a sneak attack when she's pretending to be asleep!

Or for you Office Space fans, what if we each got an official Initech "Jump to Conclusions Mat". That would keep us busy for a while :D

I mean just look at the thrilling action:

Much like football, strategies are conceived through careful planning:

Is there some sort of BCS system in place for Tiddly Winks? If not, I'm out

Sort of...

There are 8 computer polls and instead of kicking out highest and lowest, those are the only ones they keep.

Then theirs the MAD magazine poll, which is made up of a panel of t-winks experts and players as well as a variety of stand-up comics and sit-com writers.

The third component is the coaches poll, which consists of every single t-winks coach in the league. They rank the top 25 in their poll, but they do so by writing the team on lotto balls which are then randomly popped out and the teams are ranked in that order, regardless of what said coach intended. After that the lotto results of each coach's "ballot" is averaged.

Then the results of the 3 polls is again averaged.

Ina fun twist, in the final "TCS", the championship game is between #1 and #5, thus allowing teams from lesser conferences to have a better shot at the big game.
