This season was amazing. Records broken, a Heisman winner, a 6th Big 12 Championship, another trip to the National Title (4th one for Bob Stoops and Co. in 10 years, pretty awesome). The team was great, had a great attitude all year, and was ready for every game, IMO. All the past BCS games, we weren't ready. This game, we were, I think we just got a little unlucky a couple times, and missed chances that we normally should get. But overall, awesome season, and I cant wait til next September :D
Speaking of next September: IMO, we can get back here again next year. Here's who we're graduating:
Cory Bennett
Brandon Braxton
Quentin Chaney
Jon Cooper
Joey Halzle
Nic Harris
Lendy Holmes
Juaquin Iglesias
Manuel Johnson
Mike Knall
Phil Loadholt
Duke Robinson
Brandon Walker
So a couple of big D guys, and some O-liners, and some receivers, but i think we have athletes who can replace them. And then Sam and Jermaine might go pro, which would be 2 big hits, but if they stayed, then we're looking pretty good next year.
So heres to starting off with beating the Mormons on September 5th, and going undefeated and winning us number 8 in '09! :D
