You make the call. I have been unemployed for 3 months and started a new job today with excellent pay. My schedule for this week ,I find out today calls for me to work 12:30 to 10PM Thursday night. Would you ask your new boss on the first day to make a schedule accommodation for Thursday Night? My wife thinks I am nuts but I got er done.....Booyah

You have a good job with excellent pay that scheduled you working till 10 pm? Are you a financial consultant for a company in Australia?

Do you have an internet connection at work? Buy a slingbox or find an online stream somewhere.

Hello? Do the initials D - V - R mean anything to you? Work your shift, then go home and watch the game into the wee hours of the morning whilst enjoying a refreshing beverage or two (or three, or eight).

I like Collier's suggestion the best. And yes there are some good jobs that pay well that require some flex hours... And no my boss is not a Sooner, as far as I can tell I am the only Sooner fan in the state of New Hampshire. Anyone out their to dispute my claim??

OK...if they aren't Sports Fans and they are paying more than $100,000 per year....you should at least left them know the sacrifice your making. :D

If your not making big dOUgh...I think you should call in sick. Go to the emergency room. Take a TV with you.

You never answered if you had an internet connection or not.

Will you be in front of a computer?

If so - go to www.channelsurfing.net - you are golden.

Seriously, record the game and go to work. Don't listen to any reports on the game etc... and when you get home watch it.

Everyone needs a good job. Especially if it pays well. :D

whats the harm in asking? offer to make up the time some other time if possible... I dunno the specifics of the job. Is your boss a sports fan at all? if so, chances are he might be sympathetic to your plight.
