Caught this over at the Florida Rivals board. The speed is evident and their returner #25 is concerning. Never the less we win.

That can't really be a gator highlight vid. You can actually SEE the gator players. If it was really them, there'd be nothing but a blur of blue/orange once they start running. And there's no way there would be still pics of them. No camera could capture them in a still frame shot!

They are fast, but I sure see ALOT of missed tackles.

Exactly. And a lot of the highlights were cut off after they shaked and baked a couple of times right before they got tackled. I didn't see anything from those clips to think our defense couldn't handle FU. In fact, I found it extremely encouraging, actually.

You know what blew me away about that video was how much faster the SEC players were than the SEC players.

We are doomed.

I saw a handful of clips against the likes of Hawaii and Arkansas.

Now help me out here folks... what kind of world beaters were Arkansas and Hawaii this year? About as awesome as Auburn?

I still think UF has the edge defensively and on special teams. Honestly, what's weird about my prediction is I'm not sure how well UF will move the ball against us. I mean, we've played great offenses all year long, but the great offenses have usually started clicking late in the 3rd when we are starting to rotate the scrubs in and out because of how many fast starts we have offensively.

If UF takes care of the football and is able to move the ball like, say Texas and Kansas did, it's going to take a LOT for us to win IMO. I hope all the talk of this being a serious game and a business trip for OU this time is true, because I've seen us when we truly want something and we're scary good when we are on a mission.

OU will have to score two more touchdowns then the Florida offense... I would not bet against Flordia bringing one back in this game.

The first highlight on that video is of Rainey getting run down from behind by an FSU player......

I'd probably say #25 looked like the most dynamic player of the group. Very Darren Sproles-esque. They can all flat out run, that's obvious. We just have to be quick to fly to the ball, don't over-pursue, and limit their ability to get in the open field with solid tackling. If we can do that on the 8th, we'll be alright.

He was playing with a strained groin in that game and the conditions sucked.

Not making excuses, just sayin'.

How about LSU (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nku3VH12X4Q)?

look for Jeff Demps, if you want to see speed, at 2:20. also see some strength from him, a "little speed guy," at 3:53.

In all seriousness, #22 (seen in Okie35's post) for Ole Miss is a very good player.

Sure, not excuses. Besides the sun was in his eyes and the wind was blowing pretty hard too.

What conditions was the other guy running on?

This is not the first Gaytor post that contains "not to make excuses" and then follows with 3 or 4 different excuses. :texan: Very Whornish. :texan:

Just because you say not making excuses doesn't mean you can make any excuse you want!

Seriously, am I supposed to be impressed by highlight reels mostly containing plays from the Hawaii, Arkansas and Tennessee games?

It's a good thing for those players in the vid that they didn't sign with a school outside the mighty SEC or they might never achieve such lofty velocities.

So they have 4 running backs, and they were playing the one who was hurt.....why? are these guys just so out of shape that they can only take 1/4 of the carries?

And was the FSU player running on a track with spikes, with a tailwind? He looked like he was on the same field to me, but my eyes have a hard time seeing something running that close to the speed of light, so there might have been some kind of illusion
