A national championship game doesn't come around every year, so let's enjoy it as much as we can.

I believe in the Power of American Natives, and I especially believe in the power of 1/8 American natives.

Bring it home Sammy!!!!!!!!!!!

Enjoy, and don't forget to wiggle your toes or something else ;)

I don't know, four appearances in ten years - sounds almost like every year. :D

I thought it would be a pretty cool trance cut, but as soon as the singing started... bleh!

I don't know about you guys, but I'm really getting pumped for this, even way more than I was for the 2003 and 2004 games. I just think Sammy is one of the most special players (and people) in college football history. I also think he has grown up considerably in his 2 years as the starting qb at OU, and especially since the Texas game this year. I don't think he is even the same person he was in the Texas game (and he was excellent for the most part in the Texas game - 5 TDs, over 300 yards). I just think that he will refuse to let us lose in the National Championship game. Also, I think this is a totally different team that played in the Texas game. I really like every player on both offense and defense, and I think they have all improved immensely since the Texas game. If Austin Box can play then bonus, if not, Mike B. has shown me enough to believe that we will be competitive in that position (even though we might not be perfect).

If you don't like that, then try this:

Just make sure you enjoy the great times, however you choose.

I just noticed that someone else had already gotten all Fergalicious, and gotten it started with a 2008 National Champs (Sooners) highlight video.

The jinx is on.

I have a question about how this jinx thing works. Apparently, if OU fans show any confidence whatsoever about an upcoming game, we are jinxed.

But if our opponent does the same, all is well. Let's face it, the gator fans here have been beyond confident. They are borderline obnoxious.

So, why do the gods only show their displeasure toward the Sooners? Shouldn't the jinx thing at least cancel out when opposing fans are just as confident as any Sooner fan is?

Just wondering...........:pop:

Dude that first song sounds like background music at a mall in Santa Fe. Jump around gets you started.

Thanks for the thought. I think I made the mistake of emphasizing the song  . My primary intention was to celebrate Sam's 1/8 American native background, hence the reason I chose that song. I was trying to get the party started (as a secondary thought) while stating that I believe Sam will bring it home for us, hence trying to kill 2 birds with 1 song ;)

Nevertheless, "party on Wayne", "party on Garth" - from Wayne's World, for anything that hasn't seen the movie.

And, Jump Around :)
