BCS Champ Game Day Activities

I'm taking the wife and kids to the game and trying to plan the day...

I've been searching for info regarding game day activities. I was at the 2000 champ game and I remember there was quite a bit of stuff to do pregame like beer tents (for me) and jupiter jumps (for me as well). ;)

Anyone know the 411? All I can find is info for the Orange Bowl.

What time does the fun begin?
Who's playing at half-time?

What you are talking about is the BCS National Tailgate Party. You can find tickets to it for about $20 on Ticketmaster. Beer, food, concerts, rock climbing walls and rides for the kids. It is all already setup in the Dolphin Stadium parking lot (saw it while attending the terrible Orange Bowl). Should be a good time if you have kids and don't want to cook for yourself. It starts at 11:00 AM and runs into the late afternoon.
