This dude is hanging out in my back yard right now:

Unfortunately, season is over, I don't have any tags anyhow, and you can't take them inside city limits.

And my sister is in Portland, so I can't bring her over to be bitten.

And he's lying down, by the way. The snow's not THAT deep.

If you tranquilize him...you can take him outside the City Limits.

Make sure you give him a good dose though...

Good stuff, Froze! Thanks for sharing. I'd send a picture of the dandelions in my back yard, but somehow they seem less impressive now.

I have a Christmas tree, some dog **** and the neighbor kids' boomerang in my backyard. Anyone want me to post pics?

Hey FS, he's mine! Big Boy got out of my yard somehow. If you are close to Portland send him up the Turnpike , he'll recognize the exit when he gets there. :)

She's too busy being a grandma. Which is a full time job since she's the kids only Grandma not in jail. ;)

We used to have a few moose cruise through the reservation on their way to the Snake River bottoms. I tried to give chase on a Honda Trail 90 one year. Very fast agile critters that can clear high fences like nuthin'.

They might look sorta cow-like, but they're much more deer-ish.

Drop a couple bags of microwave popcorn out there every day. That'll hold him until you can get the tag. The, blammo, Moose fricasee!

Believe me, you wanna moose notch on your gun. That'll impress them hillbillies in Tuscaloosey. :D

Frozen Sooner

Heh.

1) Still can't bag 'em in city limits.
2) Season won't open again until summer.
3) Already have multiple moose notches. And caribou. &c. Haven't gone hunting in a while, but I was born and raised up here. If it's four-legged, herbivourous, and indigenous to south central Alaska, I've probably taken a shot at it.

I think I should be able to establish my hillbilly cred by grillin' up some moose backstrap at the first tailgate. :D
