Nebraska and Kansas both on the road, and both are returning their QB's. I am happy for them; I consider them my second favorite college team, because of the healthy rivalry we use to have.

I looked at some interesting stuff last night. Look at the year end totals of the box scores for ou and for gators:
First quarter
OU 225 points
UF 167

Second quarter
OU 231
UF 154

Third quarter
OU 153
UF 132

Fourth quarter
OU 93
UF 134


The only times OU lit up the fourth quarter were against OSU (who was still hanging around in the second half) and in the MU game (when we just wanted to hit 60). In other words, only when we wanted to keep scoring.

OU Defense in the first quarter is very stout. I think that if OU is true to form since the Texas game, we should have a 2-3 touchdown lead by half and it should be MUCH easier to dictate whether we want to run the ball or throw it around some. I am more confident about this game now than I once was. Keep in mind, that is assuming everyone shows up to play and has the right mental attitude.
Does anyone have a different take on those box score stats?
