the other night, he was espousing a theory of how he thinks that teams that are hot at the end of the season come out flat in their bowl game where teams that are realing come out playing loose.

I'm more of referring to the lower level and mid level teams that chant it and the whole cheer for you conference at all times even if they are your most hated rivals. I just don't get it, but this has been discussed and its new years and I have had a few beers so I am rambling, but all in all I only cheer for teams from the big 12 if it directly affects OU. Other than that I really don't care.
