i just can't get over how bad the QB play is. zero poise in the pocket. they lock on their primary or panic and immediately go to their safety valve. they overthrow guys that are 20 yards away by 25 yards. the WRs for miami don't run routes, they are just getting in position for the vince young jump ball.

Here's how bad these game today and the previous ones have been: I haven't been able to bring myself to watch more then a few minutes of any of them.

I'm ready to get to the real games.

Gotta give it up to Pat White. Only QB to go 4-0 as a starter in bowl games.

We're just spoiled to having a QB that is so great at playing QB, not fullback.

As for White, that's some accomplishment...not the 4 bowl wins but getting 4 bowl wins, a great winning career, and waiting until his last game to throw for over 250 yards!

Could it be that the teams are bad? And what are the odds ND finds itself in the pre-season top 25? 20?

There's no doubt they will be there, considering the intellence level of the media.

about halfway through that notre shame game i was wondering if clausen shouldn't have opted to go to hawaii instead of notre dame. there was a decent wind in that stadium and he had pinpoint accuracy. he sure as heck hadn't done that anywhere else on the planet.

i thought smellies QB was pretty good too.

north carolina seemed bound and determined for white to beat them through the air. even when they got close to him, they backed off not wanting him to run. he had a day much like vince young had against us in 2005.

i also felt like the CSU QB didn't look to bad, but man the way their running back was gouging fresno state he didn't get much of a chance.

Watching these other teams had me thinking that the reason defenses outside of the Big XII look so much better really IS because they have ****ty offenses. Obviously there are a few good offenses outside of the Big XII, but dang.

Hardest position to play in team sports IMO; we have been fortunate to have been blessed the last decade with some pretty damn good ones in Norman

I was thinking the same thing...The best pro prospect I saw was Rusty Smith from FAU...And they run a pro style offense so that helps him out a bunch..

I still like LeFevour from CMU, although, I'm still wondering what they did with the Chip's offense the other night. They did not look like the team that plays in Mt. Pleasant that I remember watching this year.

I like LeFevour but Smith looks more natural in the pocket.

I swear I did a double-take during the Miami-Cal game......the um qb missed an out so badly I thought it was Garrett McGee all over again....

Was it Garrett or Garrick? Really 2nd rate...not Eric Moore bad, but close.
