heres my story, about 30, 33 years ago i bought a 22 rifle from a neighbor.

here what I think I remember about it.
Stevens (savage?) 22 pump action either chrome or nickle plated. thats about it.

I didn't have it long before my uncle talked me into selling it to him. I recall not wanting to sell it, My aunt recalls i needed the money. To be honest it could have been either way. But at that time in my life I did not need a gun of any kind.(I was running with the wrong crowd if you know what I mean)

Anyway my uncle died last year and my cousin told me that his dad said that when he died he wanted the gun to come back to me. So he told his mom and she called tonight and asked if I wanted it... I said I would appreciate having it back, so I can hand it down to my son one day.

Anyway, I need to do some research it. When I get it I will post a pic. Don't know how old it is. I just have the pic in my head from in the 70's. which amazes me because I don't remember the 70's

So any links would be great

Contact Savage Arms and give them the model (probably stamped on barrel) and the Serial# (somewhere on the receiver/action). Most companies maintain archives.
If that doesn't work do a search for, say, "Savage/Stevens Collectors" or the like.

Dad has an old pump .22. Remington I think.
These things are only going up in value.
Seriously, last time I asked my local gunshop buddy about getting a .22 pump, he said, "yeah, you and everyone else"

Here's one on gunbroker for $325.
