Good to see my buddie Trent make the team! your team is pretty damn close to what I would put on there... even tho your a century before their time ;)

Now I totally get that this is comparing apples to oranges but even though White won the Heisman, I almost want to put Heupel at #2 with QBs. You obviously can't go wrong either way but Josh was a great team player and may not have had the most pure talent, but was one of the smartest QBs we'll ever see(besides Bradford). Plus, Josh should have won the Heisman in 2000 anyways and he gave us #7.

At LB, Torrance Marshall has to get some consideration as well. but as you said, there's absolutely NO way to the LBs right or wrong.

And what about Q at RB! The little man forever goes down as a great Sooner in my book after 6 tds against sexat and the grit, hard nosed play he exuded.

Reggie Smith?

Surely you jest.

Smith and Kelly were great players at Oklahoma, but they were the 2 most overrated players in my opinion.

i suppose i meant 21st century!

i dont disagree with what anyone is saying. i think Q was great. but i think murray is better.

kelly was a bit overrated, but damn was he dependable. smith had all the pure talent. i think he was a tiny bit raw. but was still pretty good. i cant really think of a lot of top notch dbs taht really jump out at me. since smith is recent memory, i named him. i think our current jackson and franks are as good of a tandem as ou has ever had but, theyre so young i think they need another season under them to get on the all century team!

I'd rather have Duke catch punts b4 smith

Why, they're already better then Smith ever was, or may ever be.

...and Q is better then Murray to this point.

reggie smith? Murray over Q?

Also I would take Frank Romero over Loadholt

Leaving out a nickel back on here, something that has always been prevalent with Stoops. I'd give a shout-out to Ontei Jones. I know he would get burned in coverage, but he was always one of my favorites for his hits in the secondary. Quinton Carter plays quite a bit the same.

How? Because of that cute, little diamond thing he does after TDs?

After what I have seen from White in '03 and '04, and what I have seen from Bradford in '07 and '08, I would have to say Bradford has the advantage. Heupel won the title, but white is even less mobile than Sam. I can't put Jason over Sam. Putting ANYONE over Peterson is ludicrous. I love Q, but come on. Q > Murray....ok, that's fine. But there is no way Peterson is second fiddle to anyone at RB in the last 30 years, much less 10...maybe ever at OU. Not until Billy and Steve do we even compare RBs at OU with AD.

Without the good defenses during Q's days you could easily add 6 more losses to his W-L record.

Rhino's is definitely the best list.

I don't think Reggie Smith would make 2 deep at corner for me.

Cappy

Yeah, Rhino pretty much nailed it. Only thing different for me would be Murray on KR.

Me neither, and i agree the 2 guys we have now are better than Reggie ever was; of course, switching positions every year probably didn't help
