Posts: 4807 Posted December 10, 2008 12:51 AM IP Looks like a disaster waiting to happen for the Sooners on Miami Beach. I guarantee some will not make curfew and/or get in trouble at night.

I am SaltLakeGator and I approve this message.

Posts: 18 Posted December 10, 2008 12:55 AM IP One of the hottest clubs in SoBe just opened 2 weeks ago and its located inside the Fontainebleau.

LOTS of talent to get the boys in trouble, but I'm sure they'll never see it.

Posts: 88 Posted December 10, 2008 07:55 PM IP Fountainbleu just did millions $$$ in renovations. It is very South Beach right now. Those Sooners are going to have a blast at the hotel, also minutes from all the best clubs on South Beach. Parties start at 2am arround there so they will be rolling at 5 am. I think that is a wonderful location for them to be at!

Meanwhile, the Westin Diplomat in Hollywood is in the center of a wheat field where it is 82 miles in any direction to the nearest light bulb.

With this being our first time to 'one of them fancy games', I bet all our players are gonna lose focus and par-tay with the So beachers!!!!11!

If memory serves, this hotel is where we stayed in 2000

(and probably theoretically would have stayed at in 2004 had we played in the orange bowl that year. you know, theoretically)

I heard that Miss June, Miss July, and Miss August are going to keep Tebow from making the BCS game.

The night before the game they switch hotels. I was at the hotel where they went in 2000. I got a chance to get our pictures with BV and Mangino. It was in the concierge area and we were drinking, but they coaches stopped in for a paper.

the fountain blue has been the traditional Sooner host hotel since the Switzer era. This place is nothing new.

now I just hope the team has been lifting weights! :gary:

Haven't you heard? They are all fine and upstanding women (outside of the GGW videos). Now those Puget Sounds debs on the other hand. Watch out.

Dear Sooners,
Do not eat the carbs. They will make you sluggish. :)
Thank you.

I heard that Erin Andrews may be staying in the same hotel as Timmy. Hopefully she will clear his head before the game!!!

From what I heard before the 2005 National Championship game there was a fair amount of partying by the players so the distractions definitely can have an effect as it could have possibly in 2005.

Sooner fans don't worry because Bob Stoops has already told the team "not to shoplift this year nor party with hookers who might be undercover police, gator players and coaches in drag, or ESPN employees".

That's because the 2005 season was cancelled. Remember? It was closed until this season.

Some things are beyond anyone's control.

What OUr boys do prior to the game...I could care less. I hope they have a great time. Nobody ever points their finger at what the winner did right before the game...it's always the loser. I guarantee you this...not very many of OUr boys is taking this game lightly or focusing in on the NFL right now. It's business. Florida fans...you wish it wasn't true...but you know deep in your hearts that OUr guys aren't going to give this game up easy. There will be blood spilled in this one.

Mark my words.
