I don't typically do this since it's obviously a Sooner board, but allow me a moment to brag about one of our players -- OT Jason Smith who is a possible 1st round draft pick. This guy has just been outstanding, and the attitude and humility displayed in this interview is what I'd like to see from every college player. He mentions Auston English is the best DE he's ever gone up against; he also says his favorite city outside of Texas is Alva, OK which I have never heard of.

Alva is where Northwest Oklahoma State University is. Patrick Crayton of the Dallas Cowboys went to school there. Being an Oklahoma kid its hard to believe you had never heard of Alva. You really were sheltered.

That being said it's a POS town.

I drove through Alva one time, and YES it is a POS town. None the less, there was a half decent BBQ joint there about 10 years ago, can't remember the name but....meh.

I believe that the Big 12 is the best conference in the nation, and Oklahoma will prove that when they beat Florida for the National Championship.
