I don't feel like driving myself. Does anyone know if there is a chartered bus service for OU fans? The only one I can find is part of the whole air/hotel/transport service offered by the Sooner Club. It doesn't sound like they'll separate the bus service out.

why not drive yourself? taking a shuttle after the game is going to be miserable. sitting in traffic after the game will also be hell but much better than waiting on/cramming into a shuttle.

also, i was wondering how many fans does OU expect to bring? since the game is in Florida, i expect UF to have more fans. i know some Gator fans are hoping it will be as much as 80/20 Gators. how many of you are going and what do you guys think the ratio will be?

None of us are coming. There's no reason to go. Your Team is vastly superior...plus...our fans hardly ever go to games.

We are just happy to see it on TV.

OU will probably bring 30,000 maybe 35,000. Plus all the corporate people are OU fans. So it will be 80-20 Sooners.

Make sure you pack a lunch.
I left Oklahoma 35 years ago and haven't made it to the Bowl yet.

traffic can be such a hassel.

There used to be a park & ride shuttle service set up at the Golden Glades lot a few miles away, but it got shut down. I used it in 2001 & 2005 and it was AWESOME to get out of there without the wait. I'm trying to figure out if it's worth trying to still book that thru private company or pay the $40 to park & wait. PM me if your interested in setting something up - I'll be there w/ a buddy of mine.

Get some of your buds together and rent a winnebago, that is what I am doing. This trip is going to cost me around $900 with everything, including tickets.

I'm highly annoyed they build the stadium in the middle of nowhere, offer no real public transportation, and then charge you 40 dollars to park your car.

The Luxury Travel Institute is offering on game day a Police-Escorted Roundtrip Luxury Motorcoach from the Gator Team Hotel, the Westin Diplomat, to the stadium. The price is $45.00 per Gator Fan. You can reserve your seat at: (352) 278-1595.

Just another reason it is great to be a Florida Gator
