So, now it's bowl season. We can actually see who both teams have faced.

Florida's opponents' bowl schedule:

Sheraton Hawaii
Hawaii (Florida won 56-10) vs Notre Dame
Honolulu, Aloha Stadium Dec. 24, 8 p.m., ESPN
I expect Hawaii's home field advantage to give a not so good team (Hawaii) a better shot at beating a slightly better team (Notre Dame). Normally, I would pick Notre Dame to win, but they did just lose to Syracuse.

Champs Sports
Wisconsin vs. Florida State (Florida won 45-15)
Orlando, Fla., Florida Citrus Bowl Dec. 27, 4:30 p.m., ESPN
Sorry Baj, 7-5 Wisconsin went into with Cal Poly last week. They won 36-35! Gotta go with the 8-4 Seminoles.

Emerald
Miami (Florida won 26-3) vs. California
San Francisco, AT&T Park Dec. 27, 8 p.m., ESPN
*yawn* Again, I expect home field advantage to take its toll. I haven't watched much of either team, honestly. I have no idea.

Gaylord Hotels Music City
Boston College vs. Vanderbilt (Florida won 42-14)
Nashville, Tenn., LP Field Dec. 31, 3:30 p.m., ESPN
Vandy finished 6-6; BC finished 9-4. Vandy comes into the bowl game losing 6 of their last 7 games. BC has won their last 4 of 5, losing in the ACC Championship game to Va Tech. BC gets a win.

Chick-fil-A
LSU (Florida won 51-21) vs. Georgia Tech
Atlanta, Georgia Dome Dec. 31, 7:30 p.m., ESPN
I think Georgia Tech takes care of business fairly easily. This LSU team is teh suck.

Outback
South Carolina (Florida won 56-6) vs. Iowa
Tampa, Fla., Raymond James Stadium Jan. 1, 2009, 11 a.m.,ESPN
SC is 7-5; Iowa is 8-4. SC has lost their last two games (to Florida and Clemson); Iowa has won their last 5 out of 6 (including a win vs Penn State). SC is #37 in rush defense. Shonn Greene is a more than able back. I think this one could go either way.

Capital One
Georgia (Florida won 49-10) vs. Michigan State
Orlando, Fla., Florida Citrus Bowl Jan. 1, 2009, 1 p.m., ABC
I think this is a matchup between two pretty even teams. UGA finished 9-3; Michigan State finished 9-3. UGA's worst loss: 45-42 Georgia Tech; Michigan State's worst loss: 38-31 California. UGA's best win: 52-38 at 7-5 LSU; Michigan State's best win: 16-13 over 8-4 Iowa. Will either of the teams' star running backs make their mark? I think Georgia is probably the all around better team.

AutoZone Liberty
Kentucky (Florida won 63-5) vs. East Carolina
Memphis, Tenn., Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium Jan. 2, 2009, 5 p.m., ESPN
I think ECU will take this one for CUSA. They are on a 3 game winning streak including a win in the CUSA conference championship over Tulsa in Tulsa. Kentucky has lost their last 3 games including losses to Vanderbilt and Tennessee.

AT&T Cotton
Ole Miss (Florida lost to 31-30) vs. Texas Tech (Oklahoma beat 65-21)
Dallas, Cotton Bowl Jan. 2, 2009, 2 p.m., FOX
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY INJURY UPDATES ON THIS GAME? If Tech is playing with a hurt Harrell or without Crabtree they are not the same team we beat! If Tech is playing with healthy Crabtree or Harrell, they win pretty easily. If not, I think they probably lose.

Allstate Sugar
Utah vs. Alabama (Florida won 31-20)
New Orleans, Superdome Jan. 2, 2009, 8 p.m. FOX
Think somewhere between OU-BSU and UGA-Hawaii. Not a blow out, but not a thriller either.

I have Florida's opponents going 5-5.

I'll say 6-4.

Hawaii, FSU, LSU, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama win.

Although...the South Carolina game against Iowa could go either way. So could the Kentucky/ECU game.

And yeah....I know...I reaching with the LSU pick. I just have a feeling...that they can't be all that bad. Even though they sure as heck are playing like it.
