If you aren't watching, you missed the worst injury in college football this year. They just got through talking So. Miss' WR up saying this 6'6" guy was faster than Dez Bryant. A few plays later, the guy breaks his leg half way between his knee and ankle. Compound fracture....the bone looked like it was trying to poke through his sock. He left foot was just dangling, it was nasty.

I have never seen that before. It was gross! The announcer said right before the commercial, "Let's hope he'll be alright." Dahm, I could see his broken leg from here!!!

Weirdest thing I've ever seen. With all the stories about Wayman discovering his cancer because of a freakish break while walking down stairs, I hope a compound fracture is all the kid has to worry about.



On an different note, does Fedora remind anyone else of Gundy on the sideline? They flashed him on the screen with his head bent over a play chart, hair standing above his visor, and I had to blink a few times.

That is the standard penalty for not wearing the correct home/away uniforms. USC also had to give up 1 timeout per half to wear their home jerseys against UCLA this year.
