Dude, the most popular place in Mannford is the road leading out of Mannford.

About 20 miles away or so, there is Drumright, which has one of the neatest 'downtowns' of any small town in Oklahoma.

I grew up in Mannford, the best place to slip away to is Tulsa. Freddie's steak house has the best bar.

It looked like a nice enough little town, but I only saw it in the dark. I need to see MaNNford in the full light of day to see how it compares to the paradise that is Fort Gibson.

The party itself was better than usual which I made sure of. Every year we have this family Christmas party at a different family member's house. My uncle got himself a new wife, so we had it at her place in Mannford.

Well I usually have enough fun I guess at these parties, but I have virtually nothing in common with my extended family. They're all, almost universally, OSU people. We play Dirty Santa every year -- I don't fish, hunt, or use power tools which makes 99.9% of the men's gifts useless for me. This year though I went by Ted's Pipe Shop at The Farm on my way to Mannford and picked up a couple of Rocky Patel's as my "men's gift" in the dirty santa game. NOBODY else in my family smokes cigars, so I intended to pick my own gift and make sure I ended up with it at the end of the night...which I did. Mission accomplished!
