Dumb uniform ? (What color for title game)?

I believe #1 is home, and that would be us. So, I'd expect us to wear dark tops, light pants. At least that's how understand it to work.

I've thought for a long time that we should have an alternate uniform. One that we almost never wear (except for big games, like Texas Tech). No major change, just something to make it different.

The SEC teams sometimes have white helmets in their bowl games. That would be cool, a white helmet with a crimson OU and crimson facemask.

I guess that means I'm not an old-school traditionalist.

My opinion on the black jersey's is that teams that make that switch generally do it to look intimidating or tough. I think we do just fine in those areas with what we have and our play and reputation.

You guys should leave your stuff alone. You have one of the most recognizable unis in CFB... don't futz with it. Florida's tickets are on the visitor's side, so it looks like you get the dark jerseys. At least we won't come out in those gawd-awful all-blue home unis we've been wearing lately.:mad: The team looks like a pile of blueberries, and the big uglies look like that kid in Willie Wonka.:eek:

The only time Florida has worn white helmets since I was poopin' in my pampers was in 2006, when they wore throwback unis for the 100th year of UF football.... their helmets have been orange since Dickey got there in 1970. Nearly all of Gator nation agrees that those were some slick unis, and they should break them out more often... at least the old-school jerseys, for sure.

I like seeing "Oklahoma" on the front of our basketball jerseys, but "Sooners" on the front of the football jerseys just makes sense.
