Years ago now, we had a thread called "Friends reminded me of something last night" started by one of our very own current admins, all in good fun, referencing the episode where Denise Richards had been a guest star on that show.

It quickly became a very lengthy thread full of pictures of scantily clad women.

At some point, the pictures began to dispense with the clothing altogether.

And at some point after THAT, services like websense (and various other web-filtering services that corporations use on their web access) started blacklisting Soonerfans.com because we had too many link-throughs to porn websites.

Thus Phil, the HMFIC, looked down upon it and said "Lo, I shall create a few more Moderators around this place to crack some heads over this ****." And it was not taken well by the denizens of Soonerfans.com, and many of them got their jorts in a wad.

And Phil did respond "Tough ****, motherbitches. My board, my rules. THOU SHALT NOT POST SMUTTY PICS."

And since Badj only has limited access to moddy powers (as she warned you all) that means she doesn't have the option to delete just a few offending posts and let the thread carry on - she had to nuke the whole damn thing.

So, quitcherbitchin, you brought it on yourselves. And as we've noted before, complaining about the moderating around here IN PUBLIC is a bannable offense. You got a problem? Take it up with Phil via PM. Otherwise this thread will get ****-canned too.
