This article was full of quality editing, and writing for that matter.

Tebow played against "much better" competition?

Harsh feelings? I don't see it from any of those quotes nor have I seen it from the Gator boards I've been on. Tebow basically said "we'll be fired up for the challenge of facing a Heisman winner". OK? So? Every Defense wants to show their stuff against the best. Tebow's Heisman has certainly been a source of motivation for all of our opponents this year. This strikes me as nothing more than typical mediot sensationalist attention whoring....trying to manufacture some kind of "controversy" where none exists.

"It could be motivation for me to come back and tie Archie Griffin," he said, referring to the Ohio State running back who won twice in 1974 and 1975. "I don't know."

There's some Christ-like humility.

Either you're a swaggerful megacompetitor, or pious missionary, but probably not both, although the media seems to tell us so.

Gotta admit though, th Sooner Nation is a little hypersensitive these days...

Tebow's numbers were less eye-popping, but came against much better competition.

Oh, ye of little faith! Actually, he is emulating Christ's resurrection AND the second coming. Get thee behind me, Mack Brown.

ya thats a bunch of bullsh*t

We didn't play anyone this year. Weiss was probably trying to get texas in the MNC game...so his precious views wouldn't be slaughtered come Jan. 8th, 2008.

I guess I can give little Dick a break since he's the Hoops guy at this paper, however he did write this one too....

Bradford looks to be Oklahoma’s fifth Heisman recipient behind Billy Vessels (‘52), Steve Owens (‘69), Billy Sims (‘78) and Jason White (‘03). He has led the most explosive offense in college football this season averaging 54 points per game. Oklahoma will face Tebow’s Gators in the BCS Championship game.

"When you're backed into a corner, do you run or fight," he said. "We have the type that's going to turn around and fight."

I'll add what stuck out to me, nothing thought provoking, it just made me chuckle. Who tries to run when backed into a corner? I sorta thought that was the point... you can't.

I didn't see any comments that reflected "harsh feelings" in that article; although I think he was trying to spin it that way. He also forgot to mention that Bradford was left off of over 90 ballets also.

"Why forget about it?" Tebow said. "I'll be motivated enough. I think it's probably even more motivation for my teammates. Just talking to them, they'll be excited."

Said Bradford: "I'm sure they are, and I am, too."

Sam, FTW!

I didn't see anything overwhelmingly harsh there. I remember a great player once said, "You got my boy's trophy. We're here to get it back." Sounds like the Florida guys are just fired up, is all, as they should be.

I happen to think OUr guys will beat 'em, but their defense will be flying ALL over the field, don't kid yourself there. They'll be pumped beyond belief until Sam and Company manage a couple scores to settle things down.

One point that made me giggle was the before and after the CCGs part. So, according to this asshat, Bradford beat Tebow on the ballots placed before the CCGs BUT....

...wait for it...

He also beat Tebow on ballots placed AFTER the CCGs.

This is relevant how?
