But Billy still gets on my nerves. One or two "BOOMERS!" might have been alright, but GEEZE!

Yeah, the Houston paper misattributed all the BOOMERS to Steve Owens..he would be apalled...tells you what kind of reporting they do. it's the same rag that showed a picture of Madu making the final score in the Mizzou game and attributing to OU's kicker Jimmy Sevens. Guess it's that same number thing.

Anyway, somebody straighten me out here. Seems like a coupla Heisman ceremonies ago, Tommy MacDonald was in the crowd & even shared some air time with the hosts. He wasn't quite as boisterous as Billy Sims, but didn't he have some rather bizarre discussions with the hosts? Maybe I'm not remembering the right guy, because MacDonald didn't win the Heisman.

Well, now that Sam has the coveted thing, are we gonna go thru this rerun of "distraction"...a la Jason White? We can't afford that with FLA. I'd think Stoops & Co. have learned to deal with this post season award hoopla better. Sure hope so.
