a current Heisman winner faced the previous season's Heisman winner in a BCS Title Game was when Leinart went up against White in the Orange Bowl. We all know how that turned out. :(
(This, according to Bob Barry, Jr)

Let's hope history repeats itself!

Would be kinda nice to put up 55 on UF.

Idk. I think that it is going to be a close game but it definetely would be nice to see a bigtime win

Personally, I want to beat them by 79-3. I'm tired of hearing that we don't play defense or don't play good away from Norman. ESPN has declared UF the winner and I really do want to show them wrong a 3rd. time.

I think it will be close, too. I'm just saying that maybe this cancels out the so-called "Heisman Jinx." I'd love to hang half a hundred on UF, but I'll take #8 by any margin of victory.

That is the most coherent statement out of BBS in years....maybe ever.

well, you muhfuggin' SLACKERS.

First of all, BBJ, per usual, is absolutely WRONG -- two years passed between White's & Lienart's Heisman years. The Heisman winner sandwiched in between is inconsequential.
Forcibly repress any inquiries on this subject.

And B.) The 2005 Orange Bowl didn't involve OU or SC. OU played in some other bowl, the name escapes me; and that year, SC played in the Rose Bowl, as they often do.
Get yer facts straight.

Quash any curiousity you may have about that year's Orange Bowl Game, lest it be quashed *for* you.

I oughtta slap a hoe!

You're RIGHT!

"The 2005 Orange Bowl represented the BCS National Championship Game of the 2004 season and was played on January 4, 2005 at Pro Player Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida...

The game featured no firsts regarding Heisman Trophy history.: End of Story!"

GEEZE! That's what I get for listening to BBJ!!!!!

I don't think that two Heisman winners have ever met in the BCS title game... unless Mack Brown issued Vince Young a Heisman teddy bear or something before the 2006 Rose Bowl?

 and yes, I know, so no, you don't need to clarify, or yes, I will respond with red, and no, it isn't OU red, because yes, OU is crimson, not red.

I try to always be positive about the Sooners, but my anus will be pinched up as tight as an altarboy when the priest calls him in for a private chat until we're up by 40 or the final whistle blows with us up by 1.

You know how you can release some of that tension?

Fark the Schooner running over something.

Yeah, that should hit the spot!

The Sooner Schooner is our official mascot and can also be used for running over things!

It is indeed an original idea with a clever concept!

Because we're playing Florida, we should have the Schooner run over a Gator!

After all, the Gators are the Florida mascot.

Another clever addition to the picture could be the refs trying to screw OU.

Hehe, the refs are always trying to screw OU.

Make it happen, Autumn!

Haven't we forfeited this ****ing game, yet? Sam winning the Heisman is the ultimate jinx. We are sooooooo screwed.

Plus, Florida is faster than the Jamaican track team, Tim Tebow is the second coming, Florida plays 'real' Defense, has an offense that scored big points against 'real' defenses all year, and Urban Meyer is a football god. Have I left anything out?

That just adds a whole nother dimension to the thing. Now I know for a fact that we don't stand a snowball's chance in south Florida of even leaving the field with dignity. Throw in the damn towel!!!

Yep, it's an entire team of guys that have more raw talent than Marcus Dupree and the work ethic of Paul Thompson. And that doesn't even mention the fact that they all run a 2.3 40 and have titanium lobster claws growing out their wrists.

Matt Leinart and Jason White were Heisman Winners that met in the BCS Title game. If you really want to get technical in the BCS Title game when Florida crushed Ohio State, Tim Tebow came off the bench and scored a couple of touchdowns in that game and Troy Smith was the starter for Ohio State.
