This just show us that because your a good player, it does not make you a good coach.

The closest Heisman vote came in 1985, when Auburn's Bo Jackson squeaked past Iowa's Chuck Long 1,509 to 1,464.

just kinda got my goat that Fowler standing up there with the winner had to bring up the fact that tebow had more first place votes..

That was lame. You don't mention that in front of the winner then. Have a reporter bring it up later in a press conference.

Yep, that was bush league. Agree. Along with Corso sitting down with Mack for 10 minutes while Stoops and Meyer got 15 seconds as well as Fowler and his BCS crap. At least they finally acknowledged it was a 3 way tie, but that wasn't the time or the place to be cute with it again. I just flipped over from an Aux Monitor to see Sam's interview. Fowler tried to bait Sammy asking if there was any piece of criticism that spurred him on, and Sammy nicely side-stepped the fishing trip (imo) and brought up last year's Fiesta Bowl. Class move by Sammy to not take the hook.

just think. ESPN will be in complete control of the BCS and college football as a whole in short order

One more reason why beating UF is going to be sooooooo sweet.

Yep...It'll be 2 "big events" in a row where we shove a reality down the media's throat.

ESPN sucks. and it's everything, the pompous belief they are the "opinion leaders" more than any crit i have about OU bashing....because they'd prefer UT to be the dominant team in the mid-south for viewing purposes/ratings/fannies in front of the TV's....I can understand that.

differently, that any fan of sport would give their mind over to this crap on a football Saturday is disgusting.

i like to watch football. and i can watch a Big East game between UCONN and Rutgers, let's say. but, don't try and convince me that game *means something* and tell me what to think about it and how it fits into some "national narrative" as such.
