From the Iowa State rivals site. Doesn't sound like the clones are too upset.

Dateline Campustown: Auburn can't count.

Auburn has its man and he is former Iowa State coach Gene Chizik. No, really. Chizik has agreed to a deal with Auburn that will release ISU from it's six-year obligation to pay him one million dollars per conference victory. Needless to say, ISU did not make a counter offer. The powers that be in the Cyclone athletic department will take the buyout money and begin searching for a new head coach, once they quit laughing and toasting Auburn for taking the most unprepared, overmatched and incompetent head coach of the modern era off their hands.

Sounds ominously like the Indiana/Sampson hiring without the violations. I think IU did OU a huge favor when they hired Kelvin, it seemed like he was on his way out.

Although the last description "the most unprepared, overmatched and incompetent head coach of the modern era " is more of a description for John Blake.

No thats there way of saying "Hey, we have a football coach, AND we don't have to pay him!"

God, who knew the ISU Ad and President were geniuses! Incentivize the football team to lose games...

Now I would if the school would go broke if Chizik went 13-0???

You got something to back that up? I might see the drunk part as he had a DUI in Ohio, but seks??? You would have thought there would be a howl regarding that one...
