Damn! That was 7 years ago, and he is still messing up; i guess that people really don't change.

Nice wiki on Crouch, he was always one of my favorites even if he was husker. Never heard of the All American Football league though. Sounds like its time to give up the dream.

I still think Marcus SHOULD/COULD have been the greatest Sooner RB of all time.

DAMN...what a freakin waste.

At work some of the guys were talking about him and we all remember what a physical monster Marcus was....to bad he didn't just listen to Switzer. His life would have turned out much different IMO.

Mental/emotional make-up is just as big factor as physical ability and Dupree just didn't have it.

Marcus' downfall was the overuse of Soul Glo.

He pretty much admits that he screwed up back then now......

My dad was one of the booster/sponsors for Marcus. Dad leased a Tornado for him to cruise around in... yeah, like that would happen these days. When Marcus took off he left the damn car in a vacant lot in the middle of Mississippi. I can still hear my dad cussing as he left the house early one morning to head to Mississippi and get Dupree's rental. Funny to look back on now.

I always felt sorry for Marcus, he was the most amazing runner but he just couldn't cope.

He is more insecure than a 14 year old bulimic and acts out like a 3 year old.

..but I do think the Dallas media does tend to make mountains out of molehills daily when it comes to ANYTHING regarding the Cowboys.
