Just finished watching the game, OU 31 OSU 28.

Charles Thompson guided OU down the field 80 yards to score go ahead td with about 2 minutes to go in the game. Could have sworn I saw Barry on the sideline putting out a cig during the drive.

OSU player dropped a 4th down pass in the endzone with 50 seconds left in the game.

Mike Gaddis and Barry Sanders put on a show.

Good times...

I believe that would be the infamous Brent Parker.

Man I remember that game like it was yesterday. Until the final seconds ticked off, I was never more nervous. I thought for sure that OSU player had it.

No need to watch the game on TV. The Brent Parker play is immortalized on youtube.

Aggie was obviously present when Parker dropped that pass...but Aggie showed up just a few plays earlier on the unsportsmanlike conduct play that put them in 4th and long.

Lee Corso was calling that game.

I remember watching Sanders break off that long run and thinking "Gee, our defense must not be very good this year."

Gaddis would have been one of the all-time OU greats, had he not blown out his knee in the Texass game the next year. His style was reminiscent of Eric Dickerson. Smooth and graceful, and deceptively fast for his size.

Both head coaches were dressed pooooooorly, fashion was not a key factor in that game. I only saw about the last 5 minutes but they looked hideous! I didn't get to see Barry Sanders becuase I tuned in late.
