OU Former student info / confirmation question.

I have a contractor here in South Houston looking for work who identified to me he was an OU grad - class of 1982. He owns his own construction/contractor firm in Galveston / South Harris county and I was wondering if I could check and if OU would confirm graduation or attendance and how to go about requesting such info if possible.

I would appreciate any info. Thanks.

5-10K is a lot of money to me. If the guy is going to lie to me about his school, then I would suspect his bid may not be good. I have not worked with this contractor - so I would check up on it. If you want to plunk money down without checking - go ahead. This seemed something that would be easy to check and I would rather employ a fellow Sooner over someone else giving all other things are similar.
