We are very close to finalizing my contract.

He's agreed to pay me $160,000,000 to post here for the next 7 years.

All we need to work on is the no-trade agreement.

Keep your fingers crossed.

That Damn Phil and his ability to "buy" a championship team in a world where message boards aren't capped and the smaller market blogs and message boards actually work within in a budget.

No parity on the boards.

Were you the number 1 pick in the draft? I've seen other posters with better stats but you do seem to be able to carry a thread on your shoulders to it's logical conclusion. :D

But, 8timechamps is a very nice guy and very charitable. I'm sure he will do some nice things with all of that money....like build Tim Tebow a home after he gets cut in the NFL next year.

And whether it's the S-O forum or the Fark forum, he's managed to dominate the posts.

Thank gawd for my no trade clause. Phil wanted to trade me to orangepower. Geez, I only cost $8 a year....pretty good bargain if you ask me.

If the Yankees wanted a fat guy who can't beat the Red Sox in the post-season, I could have been had for a lot less.

Heh, we could make a great tandem ala Big Papi/Manny.

Though, I have dibs on the name "Big Fatty" :D

I just had to edit this, damn....nobody named CC/ARod/Jeter/Ramirez/fill in the blank athlete needs to make that kind of money playing a kids game.
**** me, if there was a reason to be turned off of baseball, then I need to look no further and from the team I used to support....**** that ****.
**** the Yankees. Greedy ****ing bastards, gimme a damn break....I could understand paying a guy if he had to perform dangerous work...or that required a skill that demanded that sort of pay....but not a guy who hits/fields/throws a ****ing ball.

Oh, but the economy is in the ****ter....someone better remind MLB that it's happening.
