Tebow for Heisman!

Skip Bayless (admitted OU fan) is the most annoying talking head on TV, but actualy brought up a good point this morning. He once again stated that he was an OU fan and a Sam Bradford fan, but also said that in his eyes Tebow won the Heisman in the SEC Championship game Saturday....blah, blah, blah. He stated the fact that recent Heisman winners haven't done so great in their big bowl games because defenses are so motivated to stop them. He said he hopes Bradford does NOT win the Heisman for the fact that it would give Florida's defense more motivation to shut down the OU offense. I haven't thought about it that way due to the fact that my crimson colored glasses are glued to my head.

So, lets say you can't have your cake AND eat it too. Would you rather Sam win the Heisman OR we get National Championship #8?

Sam is being politically correct when he says winning is all that matters. There is still a little " I want the Heisman" somewhere in his heart. Which is normal. We got lucky with such a "Smart" quarterback, and obviously talented. Sam is the real deal.

I think UF has plenty motivation enough without the Heisman being a factor. I think the Heisman winner is often inundated with interview and media requests which gives less time for him to concentrate on the opponent. Its just a needless distraction. It should be awarded after the bowl games.
