History
After the end of World War 2, which all Sooner fans claim is the beginning of modern football, OU has had the winningest program in all of college football. Bud Wilkerson created the monster, despite Oklahoma State fans that claim OU was only good because they denied bribes from investors during the 1940s, and the investors in turn went and approached OU instead. Bam, Sooner magic,

Barry Switzer took the program over after a slight down time and fed the OU football monster with booze and drugs. He kicked all sorts of *** and has the best winning percentage of any coach in the modern football history. Also during this period, NBC approached OU and requested that they leave the Big 8 and become independent and have all their home games televised on NBC, ala Notre Dame. OU refused since NBC wanted to move the OU/Texas game, and then the network approached ND and they signed the deal since a bunch of morons weren’t in charge at that school.

Dark times awaited OU however. Placed on probation after many scandals surfaced in the late 1980s, the 90s were tough for the Sooners. There were a few ****ty coaches who were drunk, weird, or fat. But then, the savior arrived. Bob ****ing Stoops.

Stoops took a losing program over and won a NC two years later. Many people think that he won it with John Blake's players but that is dumb and if you believe that then you are dumb, moron. Since winning it all, all he has done since is played in three BCS bowls, won two Big 12 championships, and beat Texas several times. He has gone down a bit since his inception, but he has had four assistant coaches leave to become head coaches at another Divison-1 school. Just proof that he kicks way more *** than you.
