And low and behold a Missouri fan was still there.

Anyway...a fellow Sooner fan was walking back to his car and this woman started talking trash to him. He said nothing but good game to her. I mean, she is just going off...

Stuff about now all you all will do is go choke in your bowl game. But why wait, why dont you go choke yourself now. The Sooner fans reply.....

The hate for OU is insane up here in KC. I walked into a restaurant with my dad and my two kids, with some Sooners gear on, and as we were escorted to our tables I saw at least 3 people having a regular discussion with their fellow guests nod our direction and all turned around to give us dirty looks. Fortunately I'm a large former football player, or I'm convinced someone would have tried to tear my sac off.

During the game, we're up 24-7 when a Mizzery fan tries to engage in a little banter by asking, "who won the OU/Texas game". To which, I responded, "it doesn't matter, the Sooners are kicking your a** at this particular moment".

These are the same classy fans that printed out t-shirts depicting Quantrill's raid with the caption, "Scoreboard", leading to the REAL border war.

So, here's my theory about these sorry Mizzery fans. They forever have a chip on their shoulder. Compounding the issue is that they have never won anything, ever. They tried to influence the vote in Kansas to make it a pro-slavery state, and failed. They were shafted in the 5th down game. They were beat at the last second by Tyus Edney in the NCAA tourney. They were on the verge of defeating Nebraska when Davidson caught the kicked ball inches from being an incompletion and NU won that game, too. Not only that, but many of them are fans of the Chiefs and Royals, and we all know how that story has gone in the last 35 and 20 years.

Meanwhile KU, their primary rival, has won national championships in basketball, recently ripped out their hearts in a 40-37 win at Arrowhead, and in their one chance to make it to a BCS game, sneaked in the backdoor to the Orange Bowl last year.

These nasty little buggers have suffered from an insane run of poor luck and have suffered through cheering on some of the worst teams, and the fact that we just obliterate their hopes and dreams so callously has them hating us passionately.

If ever a state were appropriately named, Mizzery would be it.

For being a team that has never won anything in anything, Mizzou fans sure do talk a lot.

WOW! what a great explanation. You really made it clear to me, and now it all makes sense. I'm so serious... I realize now that they just literally suck at life..

They could be upset that Joe C is in Norman.

They might see his success as "what could have been" if he would've stayed in Columbia.

Everybody was very gracious to me today, Sunday, as I went about shopping in KC wearing a sweatshirt with OKLAHOMA on it. One man stopped me and told me that he never understood why OU fans hated Texas so badly until they joined the Big Eight during the expansion. In 2002, when OSU beat us in Stillwater people were not bad to me, but friends reported being harassed.

A group that sees Booger Boy as their hero almost deserves pity .............. I said almost! Mizzou fans have never had any class and never will.

They are also in a bad mood about the Rams.

Although I know several MU fans that would like to choke Booger Boy and look forward to see him depart to begin his career at Dunder Mifflin.

I would think that KC folk are used to seeing OU fans around this time of year...

KSU fan, Mizzou fans, Colorado fans...there seems to be a great deal of them cut from the same cloth. They don't know how to win well, and they certainly don't know how to lose well, although given their decades of practice you'd think they'd have figured that part out.

The Mizzou fans were nice, respectful, and just fine. They knew what was probably coming during the game and acted accordingly: sufficiently humble.

Did they give her some Meth to calm her down?

Imagine being invited to a friend's wedding. Then another, then another.

They keep getting married to hot women.

All the while, you can't get a date and you've been denied by eHarmony.

Then you finally get a date with a decent looking woman, only to find out she eats her boogers and gets fat.

Now imagine you're a Missouri fan. Same thing.

I have to give Mizzou Fans credit...they sure have a lot of fans show up to watch them lose.

It's amazing. They are very loyal. :D
