There's some serious rationalization going on over there. Maybe we'd be the same in their position, who knows.

Every time they look at their season record there will be at least one in the loss column and they will think back to the fact that we beat their *** in Dallas.
And every time UT looks at their season record there will be at least one in the loss column and they will see that OU, a team they beat, won the Big XII. So which is worse?

What we got is better. Trophies don't mean **** by themselves. OU got a gold star. We won the actual football game in real life.

Even if they are BCS champions, we're the champs of them.
Sucks to have to argue that a win over OU is better than a Big 12 championship and chance at another national championship. :D

It won't be the first time we won a National Championship after losing a game early in the season . . .

1957: 9-1 Ohio St
1964: 10-1 Alabama
1965: 9-1-1 Alabama
1967- 10-1 So. Cal
1975: 11-1 Oklahoma
1977: 11-1 Notre Dame
1978: 11-1 Alabama
1982: 11-1 Penn St
1983: 11-1 Miami
1985: 11-1 Oklahoma

So, i'm assuming since Tech beat them that they turned down the Fiesta Bowl bid? :D

Maybe they should change their name to UTA&M. They sound more and more aggie every day.

In 5 years, they will be the only ones who remember who beat us this year.
Arrogant horns.

Seriously? Better? I'll agree to lose to texas until the end of time if we get a MNC every year they beat us.
Dumb-asses.

They just can't get over fact that in the BIG picture of college football, they lost the game! They are not Big 12 Champions and they do not get to play for the Crystal Ball for everything. Of course, they don't say anything about how they were beaten by TT, and neither do most of the TV announcers. All we will hear until (and probably during) the Championship game is how Texas should be in the game. Who cares, I don't cause we are there and we will be the one who ends up with the MNC trophy at our school.

Shouldn't they be playing Ole Miss for the crystal ball?

Every true whorn fan felt the kick-in-the-gut pain when Crabtree scored. All the rationalization in the world won't take that away. :D

I don't like this pattern.

If this is one of those what's-the-next-number-in-the-sequence deals, I can't answer it.

1996: 12-1 Florida
2003: 13-1 LSU
2006: 13-1 Florida
2007: 12-2 LSU
2008:

It's obvious, the sequence is completed as follows:

1996: 12-1 Florida
2003: 13-1 LSU
2006: 13-1 Florida
2007: 12-2 LSU
2008: 12-2 Florida

I guess they might win an MNC this year after all--Moral National Championship.

You stay aggy, Texas fans. :texan:

Just goes to show:

Every year our goal is to win a conference championship and compete for a national championship.

Every year their goal is to beat OU.

It is strange how UT forgets the TT lose.

We win the OSU game we go CCG.

We lose the OSU game TT goes to CCG, (head to head win over Texas)
