This may have already been posted but did anyone else catch the harris Poll voter who voted as follows:

1. Utah
2. Boise St
3. Texas
4. Florida
5. OU

How do some of these folks get the credentials to vote. Scary.

What a maroon. Who was it Kirk Bohls? It couldn't have been Tramel or OSU woulda been ahaead of us too.

At least it wasn't Pat Quinn, the former SID at Okie State, who exhibited signs of advanced Alzheimers when he told Berry Trammel that it didn't matter who he voted for (he happens to be a Harris Poll voter, hence the question) because Bama and Penn State, the only two undefeated teams left, would probably play for the national title.

Couldn't be Bohls, he would have UT #1...he is only an AP voter. He does list his complete ballot in the Austin paper every Monday morning too.

Larry Keech (http://www.pollg.com/g/w34059/w34059wk12.htm?who=lkeech), John Minko (http://www.pollg.com/g/w34059/w34059wk12.htm?who=jminko) and Pat Quinn (http://www.pollg.com/g/w34059/w34059wk12.htm?who=pquinn) all had OU at #4, everyone else had them at #3 or higher. Thurman Thomas had OU at #2.

who cares, OU is in the game. Winning is the only thing that will silence the doubters

I found an article from a couple of years ago about how he votes. He says that he does it by wins and loses. No loses first, one loss second (ranking by who lost to a higher ranked team at the time), etc.

It explains his vote, but still... worst logic evar!

With such few voters and such big consequences you think that having transparency would force a level of accountability within the system. Voting Utah 1 and Boise State 2 should lead you to having your voting rights revoked. At least the coaches have their final vote documented and put out there for people to see how they voted. I think the Harris Poll votes should be the same way since it does go in to the BCS calculation.

But there is no agenda for anyone mind you....Sad that the computer ranking system is the most reliable.

After the Orange Bowl following the 1985 season OU was one vote short of a unanimous #1 in the UPI (coaches) poll. Who got the other #1 vote? Fresno State with a record of 10-0-1. The voter? Barry Switzer.

Maybe he tweaked his algorithm. I didn't say I knew the guy personally. I said that I found a two year old article. If you don't believe what I said, at least say so and don't come on here and try to disprove it. Look the guy up yourself a-hole.
