and that didn't turn out too good for the Nazi submariners either.;)

Uncontested all-time gheyest fight song in college sports: That waving wheat travesty at Stoolwater. It should be changed by an act of the Oklahoma legislature before they play on teevee again.

If you only play it through one speaker...it sounds just like your at the Game.

"It's A Long Way To Tipperary" was a popular "music hall" (Brit for "Vaudeville")
song quickly adopted by His Majesty's forces during WW One. Like "Lili Marlene", the great German soldiers' song, it was sung by friend and foe alike, though never so popular as "Lili Marlene".
Here's Mizzou's band playing "Tipperary" WITH the official MU fight ditty and it's lyrics.

And here's Miss Lili, sung by the Late Great Marlene Dietrich:

In English, sung by Lale Andersen, her broadcast to German troops during WWTwo:

The song was sung by both sides in both World Wars...even the JAPANESE in WWTwo!
("Riri Marene"? LOL!)

Makes me wanna saddle up in mein PanzerKampfWagen and invade Paris (TX).

It sounds like a cross between carnival music and Italian funeral march.
