What the hell does that mean? Does Pony Boy really mean more to the whorns than Sam does to the Sooners, or for that matter, what Tebow means to the Gators? Or is it a polite way of saying that the whorns wouldn't have any offense without Coltie? I fail to understand exactly what that means in relation to why McCoy deserves the Heisman more than Sam. It really makes no sense, and it's a lame argument in my opinion.

its kind of like saying "John Parker Wilson is a great game manager!".

Its just something stupid people say to rationalize lesser stats.....

Colt is an amazing player and is by far the best player on their team. If you want to give out the award like it is supposed to be given out, for the player who helps their team the most, you could argue that it was Colt. If you are going to follow the trend of the last handful of seasons and give it to the best or most high profile player on the best team, then you give it to Sam.
