They started like 10 threads on us running up the score. That's probably part of the problem.

But that is a fact and a difference in the programs. We pulled Colt and the starters with 11 1/2 minutes to go against Missouri, up 49-17. And in 2005 we pulled Vince Young with 10 minutes to go in the third quarter against Colorado in the CCG. What's the point of leaving in your starters?

& in the height of ironies, OU has now played one more game than UT this year, & the 'horns have still outscored OU in the 4th quarter.

This argument could go on forever and ever. Fans are becoming too fragile with this stupid classless running up the score crap. Kirk said we were playing sloppy in the 3rd, but when we scored he said it was out of hand. Its just a easy escape route to criticize a team you particularly dont like. OU pulled bradford for the equivalent of 2 games this year, but did keep them in for the CCG game. Why not, its Missouri, a top 25 team, not middle tennessee state or chattanooga in the BIG 12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME. Everyone could criticize everyone on this subject, because its all subjective.

Did you forget the 70 you put on Colorado in the 05 B12CG?

You know what? It's Billy Ball. there's 11 guys on that field who are supposed to stop us.

If they don't like it, they should get better.

The UT fan base and program are whiners. When things go their way everything is great, when not, everybody is classless, etc. Typical Sour Grapes.

Sam's been out of the line up for roughly 2 games of total playing time. If he would have played, his numbers would be even more Nintendo like

Colt McCoy has played in the fourth quarter of more games than Sam Bradford this year.

You can look it up if you like.

Blame it on herby and nutsburger. They said we were risking our BCS birth by playing "sloppy" in the second half. I swear someone must have called Stoops and told him, because right after they said it we put our pedal back on the gas.

Please reconcile the 21 points in the 4th quarter against a hapless A&M team then.

You hit the nail on the head. Funny how the horns take arguments that are convenient to them.

Like the one where they talk about the win against us but don't mention their loss to Tech.

Super silly

I wonder if you OU fans thought the same way when you feel like you were screwed in the Oregon game a couple of years ago. Both teams agreed before the game to have one guy in the booth decide the instant replay calls and he did. He said Oregon ball - fair and square, just how you agreed right?

No doubt. "We're classier than you - we quit trying earlier" is the ultimate whine of the loser. Froz is right; UT plays just as hard as anyone in the last quarter and then rewrites history to justify their suckitude.

What is Leach's quote?
It's not MY job to keep MY team from scoring, that is what the other team is on the field to do.

To win so impressively it overcomes the "b!tch and moan and when the polls don't respond, b!tch and moan some more" campaign coming out of Austin for the past three weeks.

Mark Schlabach: OU should fly a plan over Austin that says "Right now, we would beat the hell out of you."

The true irony is that horn fans were already touting how they were beating Mizzou 35-7 at halftime, when we were only up 17-7 in the 2nd. You can bet your *** that if we had won by a lesser margin, or scored fewer points, they would be beating that horse to death.

This is the first time ALL season I can say that OU was trying to pad the score with a late TD. They took one shot in passing to the end zone, and then ran the ball in for the TD. Almost like the Oklahoma State game. Hell, we were content to run up the middle to run out the clock, and the soft "D" allowed a late TD. How is that our fault?

I see horn fans have forgotten how we ran it up on A&M a few years back. We had our waterboys in the game the entire 4th quarter, and ended up telling them to run into our own frickin lineman and fall down!! Yep, we always try to run it up.

hey utex74-maybe it is the lack of BIG 12 TITLE GAME EXPERIENCE that caused the coaching staff to pull vince-after all we have won it so many times we know how to handle the situation.
