How do you know there is more money in a playoff versus the bowl system you are ready to scrap?

Someone cares about all those bowls or they wouldn't exist.

The question to ask is what is best for the game?

I don't think you can speak for all 119 colleges.

In my opinion what is best for the game is a playoff where the best teams at the end of the year settle it on the field. No system is perfect and someone will always feel like they are left out unless you have a 119 team playoff. I'm not saying scrap the bowl system all together, even though I think there are way too many. I just think a playoff could also be incorporated. Could OU beat Texas now? I think so. Could USC beat FL or ALA or OU? Dunno. Could Utah or Boise St beat any of those teams or Penn St (who I hate) and since they are always conveniently left out of the discusion what about Tech? We don't know and won't ever know under the current system.
