I would say the Crimson ones. At least I hope so because I don't want to have to watch Missouri wear those awful yellow ones.....but I have to admit, their black ones are pretty sweet.

Oh great  If we wear crimson that means Mizzou is wearing their white see-my-belly-button-through-my-tummy-part-of-my-jersey-see-through uniforms

Almost as bad as calling us "Oklahoma University". I've seen some Sooner fans do that on here, wtf?

The game is being held in the North Division, so the South representative (us) will be wearing their home jerseys, in our case, crimson. Since the next two Big 12 title games are in Dallas, the North representative will be wearing their home jerseys in those contests.

Yeah, if you remember, last year we wore white in San Antonio (South), and the year before, we wore crimson in Kansas City (North). Also, in 2005, Texas wore white because the game was in Houston, and in 2002 we played in Houston, and we wore white also. I don't get why the Big 12 does it that way, but they do.

that's for bowl games (don't remember if it's all BCS games, or just the NC)

It's just the national title game. Most other bowls, you have a designated "home" team based on tie-ins, i.e. the Big 12 champ is the home team in the Fiesta, the SEC champ is the home team at the Sugar, so on and so forth.

so are our fans sitting behind the "home team bench" in KC?

If the "home team bench" is the one on pressbox side, then yes.

Yes, that's "our" side. I've been in 117 and 127 in previous years, and I've been surrounded by Sooners. The North team sits, well, on the north side. :D

So, after we've all explained that when the game is in a North division state, the South team is the home team and vice versa, you think that the fact that we wore crimson in Kansas City in 2000 is evidence of the higher-ranked team wearing the home jerseys?

You probably think the national title game is the Orange Bowl, don't you?

Anyway, from the Big 12 website:

Arrowhead Stadium will host the game for the fifth time (2000, 2003, 2004, 2006). The South representative will be the home team this year and utilize the sideline on the press box side of the field.

No I was just thinking off the top of my head, and remembered the 2000 game, and last years game, and based it off that.

Hey, cool. Thanks for clearing everything up. I had no idea there was an Orange Bowl and a BCS Championship Game as well. I don't know whats more impressive, me being an asshat for not knowing the policies of who the home teams were in Championship game, or that you could deduce that I know nothing about college football. What a joke.

you really don't have to put white in (). we know it's white.
