Oklahoma State receiver Dez Bryant has been named to the American Football Coaches Association All-America team.

Bryant, a sophomore from Lufkin, Texas, is the only player on the team from an Oklahoma school.

Texas Tech's Graham Harrell was named quarterback. Other Big 12 players on the team were Missouri's Chase Coffman, Texas Tech offensive lineman Brandon Carter, Texas Tech receiver Michael Crabtree and Texas defensive lineman Brian Orakpo.

The AFCA is among multiple All-America teams that will be announced in coming days and weeks.

Really though? Coffman over Gresham? No OU O-lineman?

Coffman pick is questionable...The OU lineman struggled somewhat pre-Texas, especially in the run dept, so I can them not getting a first team pick

Coffman over Gresham is questionable at best. Harrell had a good year, but either Bradford or McCoy is better. Moreno is totally a "name" pick.

maybe this is proof that bradford is the MVP?!?!?

i mean, this is a team full of fail. hell some of them are so stupid they can't fall out of their own way. right?

the little golden dude is suppose to go to the member of a team that would fail miserably without him.....

noone is on the AA list and we didnt deserve/got lucky/cheated our way into the Big XII championship game yet, here we are....

25 yards on 32 carries vs TCU leaves the O-line without an argument. I think they sacked Bradford a few times as well.

Gresham, on the other hand, is an argument. Especially what he has done late in the year.

Watch how the linemen pan out in the draft....OU by a mile.

Not if they watch the TCU and UT games. If they focus on the others then maybe. Big disappointment this year. If Texas and, to a lessor extent, TCU can stop the run and still pressure Bradford, what do you think Ala and Fla can do?

That's jacked. McCoy, Robinson, and Bradford are deserving.

Wow, the most dominant offense in the history of college football and no AA's. That's jacked.

All-American teams haven't been the same since they quit having the Kodak All-American Team on the Bob Hope show......

I guess Alabama and Texas Tech will play for the national championship as their teams are clearly stocked with the most dominant players?

To win with average players is the mark of great coaching.
