for Brent Venables legacy at OU?
I believe that much of Brent's criticism comes from our BCS showing's since Mike's departure. The facts:
USC - 55
BSU - 43
WVU - 48
If we make it to the BCS National Title game or a BCS bowl in general the 49 point per game average has to come down and in a hurry.
Thoughts?

Well, for my two cents, the next two games are the biggest games for Bob's legacy. If we win, he's truly one of the killer Bs. If not, I think it's a very real possibility that he retires with only one national championship.
We can't come this close and fall short again -- we've fallen short too many times this decade, and I think another fall here would cement us into the "no cigar" category.

I don't think so..If OU lost these games and then won them next year, nobody would care about this year.

I would be fine with giving up 49 points if we score 60.

It ain't easy doing what Bob has done! He does need to adjust the way he prepares the team for bowl games though. That is my only complaint with him.
#8 in 08 would be awesome!

I don't care how we win. Style points are out the window now. I just want to win.
