can someone fill me in why he is getting michael vick treatment on espn?

i haven't heard anything but vague comments about how his career is over because of a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

This isn't his first spot of trouble. In the brave new NFL, any owner/GM knows that to sign Plax is to risk throwing money at someone who could be suspended at any given time.

Dude's suite is sweet, but I would have went conservative for court; he also should not have gotten 2 years. Killing dogs is far worse than carrying a gun with a lapsed legal permit, not his fault. Especially after he has been robbed 2 in the last 6 months with his house broken into. Totally dumb but 2 years in prision is afully stiff for that.

i too thought it was a harsh punishment...

the news was reporting that if he would have plead guilty a while back, instead of begging for mercy.. he only would have got 4 months or something.

Shiaty legal advise if that is the case - hell he could have done that in county instead of rikers - where he will have to pay for protection.

Michael Vick didn't receive his prison time because of "dog killing" He got his time for an Illegal Gambling Operation.

the dog fighting was just misdemeanor stuff.. the betting on dogs was the felony part .. and crossing state lines to gamble on dogs
