Mack is going to have egg smeared all over his face if the MNC ends up in a re-match with the Sooners. Not likely, but this whole system is so hosed up anything could happen.

I really think all this whining has worked against him this time. He needs to get over it and go have them some rings made or something. When I think of all the times OU has gotten screwed I can't feel too badly for them.

Hopefully one day (years after med-school), I can have my own "Sooner Room". The walls will be crimson....everything in the room will be OU.....chairs, couches, carpet, pool table, autographed memorabilia, etc. And there on the wall will be a trophy case displaying mini crystal ball trophies for every MNC we have won. I bet you before I get that we will be at 8 or more. And that doesn't mean I think it will be a while either. I'm aiming for sometime in the next 10 years. You are all welcome to watch the game at my future house (select away games of course...ill be in the stadium for home games, some away games, CCGs, bowls, etc.). Boomer!

1974 was for the AP championship only. We were on probation and the UPI Coaches Poll was not allowed to vote for schools on probation so 1974 could not be included for the mini crystal football trophy. I suppose that is why it is on the right sleeve by itself.

I believe USC won the Coaches poll that year.
