ESPN is being consistent with their constant hyping of UT in this weeks CFB Power rankings. They moved UT up to #3 and dropped OU to #4. Now I could understand if they kept the same order from last week if UT had been ahead. But there is no logic for the swap given the games each team played. I guess it is their little protest.

The thing is, they can think and believe all they want that texas deserved to be in over us because of head to head, but for Espn or anyone else to act like OU isnt deserving is what pizzes me off. We earned what we got, it may have been a benefit of the system we have, but everyone plays under that system.

Yeah and I bet you're plopped on the couch every Saturday morning watching College Gameday and tuning into ESPN more than you think.

I don't believe in censorship - but the Media is out of control in this country

Fox Sports OKLAHOMA is what I have been dialing into this week - they played 3 games last night that I enjoyed the shiate out of...

I have not watched 1 minute of ESPN gameday this entire year unless you count halftime of an OU game.

It's just another persons opinion. I don't need or want that.

I take the DMNews and FW Star-Telegram and read the Daily O on-line. Do you really need more than that?

Consistent?
In the power rankings we are #4 (behind texas)
http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/powerranking?season=2008&week=14

But in the Big 12 power rankings we are #1....(ahead of texas)
http://myespn.go.com/blogs/ncfnation?tag=power%20rankings%2014
Does somebody else just rank the conferences by themselves? Am I missing something or does this not make sense

I makes no sense whatsoever. If we are behind texas in their opinion, then we should be behind texas, period. Just like everything else from espn, it's bs.

I think Tim Griffin is the one who does the Big 12 conference rankings. I think they have each conference blogger to do the rankings of the conference they cover since they don't show votes like on the national Power Rankings.
