so says the genius hosting College Football Live. Where do they GET these guys? Am I just easily pleased, or does 5-1 NOT suck?

It has come to my attention over the past 4-5 days that many of the ESPN talking heads don't know what the hell they are talknig about....

I heard that too, and thought WTH, was that just a slip of the tongue and he meant has instead of hasn't or is he a complete dumbazz.

I wouldn't know and don't care, as I've instituted a personal boycott of all things ESPN.

Heh I heard this earlier as well, and was thinking the exact same thing "where do they find these guys?" This might have finally pushed me over the espn boycott edge as well, I'm sick of listening to guys who have their heads up their ***.

Also remember that ANY loss by OU is considered a BLOWOUT.....

How could someone host a college football show and be so freakin clueless? Most of us could probably come up with the majority of BCS conference champions this decade and most of us don't get paid to talk about sports. How could he not know that we are the only Big XII team with more than two conference titles, let alone five? Most of those games weren't even close. Of our five wins, four have been by double digits. The list goes on.

kevpks, I am just as stupified. I can understand the average Joe making such a mistake. But if I was paid to be a professional sportscaster, I would know this stuff inside and out. And I would certainly squirrel away enough time to find out before going on air.

Not to belabor the point, but driving around on Saturday night I was listening to Eric Asillias (Heh) talking about how Texas beat Oklahoma "in Norman."

I heard it too and just thought he's a moron. Even Jesse Palmer acted like he didn't know how to respond to it.

2000: Won against KSU 27-24
2002: Won against CU 29-7
2003: Lost to KSU 7-35
2004: Won against CU 42-3
2006: Won against NU 21-7
2007: Won against MU 38-17
2008: TBD

Gee, looks like the Big XII Championship game hasn't been good for Oklahoma has it.

Cowherd had his genius cap on and was talking about "something that none of the voters had thought about". OU had a bye the week before the Tech game so Texas should have gotten the nod. Of course he never mentioned, or probably even knew, that Tech also had a bye.

Mike Greenberg said the same thing on Mike & Mike in the Morning about a week ago. In fact, his words were that "Texas ran Oklahoma off their home field."
